WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[Note: She is absolutely serious about this. They definitely need more people to deal with the extra houseguests.]

Maybe. But if I am, it's only a tiny curse.

Do swords count?

Okay, any kind of blade. Are we going to be here for an hour while you do the math?

[stares at her DEAD ON as he replies]

The little shit. Have an exaggerated sigh. The most exaggerated.]

I'd say we need an exorcist for you, but they might accidentally get all the ghosts who keep trying to talk to us.

. . . are you trying to exorcise the Satan in me? That's impossible.

No, just the part that really likes running at knives.

[Taking it in stride at this point?? Why would he be Satan, that makes no sense.]

Not at them. Maybe a little to the side of them?

I'm pretty sure there's no real difference there.

There is. One gets you stabbed, the other is more of a dodge.

That doesn't work if there's an army.

[She is totally keeping a straight face but what are they even talking about anymore.]

It's not usually an arm. It's two or three, sometimes five at most.
