Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[ ironically, Inaba herself is outside and while she does keep a bit of distance from Oda at first, she is going to see what the flower he placed on the bench was.

because as someone who knows a lot about plants (thanks, stupid trivia knowledge and Heartseed!) she's admittedly curious.

but eventually she does speak up, admittedly a little awkward with her wave. ]

[ unfortunately, oda knows nothing about flower language. it’s a single white daisy, that he picked from the garden.

when inaba talks to him, oda turns, blinking a couple times. ]

Hey. [ um. uhh... ] I’m sorry if I’m taking up space. I’ll leave if you want privacy.

she's keeping that in mind regardless, oda! although she shakes her head. ]

It's fine, you're not. Besides, it's probably better to not be alone in a place like this.

[ that much is the truth, in her eyes. ]

Who's the flower for, by the way?

[ she has guesses, but she doesn't want to assume. ]

Mm, I suppose not.

[ he closes his eyes, sighing. ]

Mitsuru. I wanted to give him something better, but I screwed that up.

she kind of feels bad for him; he was their only male teammate, after all. ]

It's okay, it's the thought that matters when it comes to these sorts of things.
