Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[He growls - but then abruptly stops as the fingers scratch between his ears, tilting his head into it after a moment.

Okay, no, that feels really nice.]

Dumb teenage not-quite-doggo-right-now is just going to stare blankly for a moment. Headtiiiilt.]

[STARES FOR A MOMENT LONGER--

And then. Theeen there's a bit of a shit-eating grin curling up his lips and he snorts.]

Hmph, pretty sure you still got a better deal than me, old man dog.

[Yes, he's old man dog now. Nora doesn't even bother trying to pet, he just parks himself there damply and then taps the dog's muzzle, mindful of snapping.]

[He doesn't snap, but he does give some annoyed growls at the tapping.

Honestly, there's not much he can do, beyond lift a paw to try to push Nora's hand away, making an annoyed grunt at it.]

[There's a snicker at the growling and the tiny paw pap?? You are tiny, tiny terrier, what are you trying to do. Nora does a mock-pushing contest for a couple of moments before reaching over to push the dog over in a casual movement. Disadvantages of wee legs.]

We ain't both frogs this time so you might as well accept it!

[There's a pause as he looks at the hand, looks at Alcor, looks at the hand -

And then, almost on instinct, he places a tiny paw in the outstretched palm.]

Bruff.

[He gives one of the 'quiet barks' dogs are known to give, looking at him with those blue eyes.]

[ Alcor smiles back, places his other hand on top of the paw. ]

I have always wanted to do this, once.

[ ....he actually means exactly this because he's seen Yamato do it with Cerberus before but his tone is all soft and dreamy so. Yeah. ]

[Honestly? He gets it. Moriarty absolutely gets wanting to hold a dog's paw, because he's often had to deal with dogs spurning him on the regular.

So he merely wags his tail, content to hold his paw up for as long as Alcor needs.]

[GRUMBLES but accepts it, eventually leaning into it.]
