Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Hmph. Just no more coffee stuff, it was enough the last, what, four times?? [and probably only one time was for him, who knows what happened the other times, mystery] And something pipin' hot, like stew or noodles or something.

In a way, it is. By preventing many things, it brings about nothing.

[ They are! The shields are mostly translucent but they glitter iridescent when contact is made. Nora will feel the same impact he used on the shield reversed back at him. ]

...reversing is a better way to say it, I suppose. [ Nodding to the food order. ] Yes, I can do that. Pad woon sen perhaps, glass noodle stir fry to start.

Pfff. Ya might as well say water turns into nothing just 'cause you evaporated it. Or reverts? Whatever.

[Is he still salty about the pool. He's always salty. There's a squint when the shields do their weird glitter thing, why must everything be so bright, smh star. There's a little huff but he nods, seemingly accepting the food bribe. Business almost as usual.]

... Yeah! To start. I ain't got any idea what that is but it better have meat in it.

[Truly a demanding customer but he's a carnivore at heart.]

It is a noodle dish, served with any variety of meat. Usually pork, chicken, or steak...but in your case I could add all three?

[Holy shit, he won an argument against Alcor, it's a miracle they even got to a clear conclusion of the argument in the first place Nora will take it!!1]

Ha. Yeah, gimme all three of those but especially the steak-- [judging by the way he's still snuffling he could probably use the stew more than noodles but it's fine] --I could use something to get the taste of these damn cookies out.

[They really do not taste good anymore after everything. Nora hasn't put the pieces together either, but then Alcor's moods are stupidly subtle usually, life is hard when you're a dog that crashes through all of this.]

Were they that terrible? It was satisfying to crush mine. [ No one can navigate Alcor's moods even himself. ]

Maybe a spicy dish as well, such as gumbo...

You just like crunching things, that's different from actually tasting 'em??

[He will not deny that crushing everything is kind of satisfying, though, he just does it with his fists instead and he will defend that and rampant pyromania to the grave. That's not a death flag.]

Not TOO spicy though. I gotta be able to taste things after I'm done.

[Instead of, you know, burning off all his tastebuds. He's not actually that good with spicy food.]

But crunching is a part of mastication.

I will make it mild, and pair it with something appropriate. Baked Potato soup-ah it has bacon, before you ask.

So's actually tasting the thing, and then you gotta actually eat it. Unless you're tellin' me you do that with the floaty thing, too.

[I mean. It's not out of the realm of possibility but still. Deadeyeing a little bit here.]

Hmmm. Yeah, I think that'll work, AND send me right off to sleep, I swear.

[Has he conked out while/after eating a few times by now, absent-minded recollection says PROBABLY YES. Food comas are real for all species.]

I do not, eating is not necessary for me under normal circumstances.
