For the sake of keeping plot-relevant things on the main comm, a few important threads are going to go here. Feel free to tag into whichever ones are appropriate for your character.
This is for all characters who fought back against Mayuri. Once the dust settles, they are taken away and locked in a containment cell. There will be no visitors during this time, and they won't receive meals or any items from the outside world either. They are totally, completely alone.
Within 12 hours, they are taken to an interrogation room. There they will be interviewed by one of Mayuri's subordinates. The clown himself won't show up, but it's pretty reasonable to assume that he is watching the proceedings.
During the 'interview', they will be questioned heavily about everything that happened. Who was the teenager who escaped? What are his powers? How was he able to kidnap everyone? They will also be questioned about where they were taken and what happened there. This is questioning only, there is no violence involved.
Depending on how much useful information is given, they will either be released after a cursory health check, or they will be thrown back in containment. If they are thrown back in containment, they will remain there another 24 hours (this time with food and water given at appropriate times, but no other contact besides that) and be brought back for questioning. If questioning the second time fails, they will be put into containment for another week, then suddenly released.
All participants will be heavily monitored! Everything they say and do for at least the next two weeks will be carefully watched by either Mayuri or one of his subordinates. Regardless of what they say or do, though, there is no further intervention.
If you want to play out the interview, leave a note here saying so. Maple will be tagging these, so responses may be slow depending on the time/day it is.
If you do not want to play out the interview, please leave a comment saying what information your character is giving during the interview. This will be used to write an SCP article on Watanuki/the Witches later.
[ Syaoran is rather used to being in isolated places, and having no food isn't anything new either. All he'll do for the next twelve hours before any questioning is meditate and try to conserve as much energy as he possibly can, so he might actually look like he's sleeping but he is very much paying attention to his surroundings, even sensing things around him. ]
[As a Servant, Sherlock didn't need the food or drink, but boredom is the killer. He tries to spend the time going over every scrap of knowledge he knows, and Protocols, while formulating answers to possible questions.
However, he can't help but be concerned about Erhard, being confined so soon, or what Moriarty will put himself through for the kids. But, those thoughts, he tries to push down, along with some troubling intrusive thoughts that plagued him since he was alive...]
[Again. They're separated again, and Erhard has no idea what's happening to Sherlock or any of his friends. The thought of it is enough to leave him huddled in a corner of his containment cell, buried in flashbacks of his eight years in prison. He stood up to Mayuri but he couldn't do anything, maybe his lack of direct attacks will work in his favor, but Sherlock disabled Mayuri's weapon and the mad scientist will definitely be furious....
The intrusive thoughts are growing. Maybe he'd be better off letting himself dissociate, but if they think he's defective they might just terminate him....
By the time someone comes to interview him, he'll be hugging his legs to his chest, his eyes not quite focused.]
[Being forced out of transformation: not Karen's favorite experience she's ever had. Neither is having to wait hours and hours for an interrogation when all she's had to eat is an apple. But it's not like she's really surprised, and she can be patient.
She kind of wishes being patient wasn't necessary right now, though, as her thoughts turn toward the statuses of other people. She knows some of them made it through the portal, which can only be a good thing, but... after everything that happened, she's sure she won't be hearing from Sakura or Shadow for a while.
...she really doesn't have very many friends here, does she?]
Nine- Nine will share he has no information to really share. He doesn't give a shit about that round and he has no idea what powers that teenager has other than popping up out of no where with a bunch of others. He will tell them that him and Ren stopped really paying attention to the death game after w3, and he dragged him out after he was upset. The only reason he got involved was to keep Ren safe after the clown popped up and scared the shit out of everyone there.
Cinque- She'll share that she had some friends on the screen and was only allowed to show up for the weekends. She'll share that the loooooong teenager is named Wataling and that she owes him a punch for dragging Sataling's friends into his game! She'll share she has no idea his powers are, but he spent a lot of time napping on the screen and was pretty boring. That his teleporting might be all that there is for him.
[Aoi sits primly in her cell, hands on her knees and eyes closed. She spends the time with her lips barely moving but it's evident that she's mentally reviewing something (hint: she's definitely rebuilding her duel deck right now, both of them, for lack of anything better to do; mentally cataloguing all her options past and present and future because that's the easiest way to do it).
Her knuckles are white and she's clutching her knees by the time the twelve hours are up, but when they come to question her she merely takes a deep breath and stands up straight.
She'll wait quietly for the questions, regarding her interviewer watchfully.]
[Kurama is not happy to be in containment but he is quiet and well-behaved in the time leading up to his interview. Partly because he has a lot on his mind.
He's returned from the Game with a third eye on his wrist, a black flame on his forehead, and yet another identity added to the mix. Only one of those things is readily concealable.
So he spends those hours thinking and planning and resting.]
[I WAS NOT AROUND TO THREAD IT OUT BUT AKIRA TOTALLY FOUGHT BACK TOO!1]
[there's no need to thread it out but he'd answer every question with a joke response that is obviously a lie, and maintain a perfectly straight face while doing so]
This is for all characters who remained at the Foundation. Because of Watanuki's escape, all people who chose to remain will be heavily monitored for two weeks. Everything they say and do will be gone over by Mayuri or one of his subordinates.
If your character says anything of note about round 3 during this time, please leave that here. You can also play out those conversations in this thread, if you want.
Characters who say something important may be pulled in for more questioning.
[ Inaba is here and since shit is all said and done she can be found doing paperwork as usual but as the days go by people will probably notice that she... hasn't exactly been sleeping and is running completely on coffee.
[Well, since as soon as it became apparently they were going to be monitored, Gebura set her filter to not include the seven stakes for now, and placed them into her internal EGO Weapon. She'll need to figure out how to explain their presence afterwards, but for now... They're safe. It doesn't mean Gebura won't be grumpy, though.]
[It is an ongoing struggle and effort of will not to fuck with the monitoring. He doesn't like being tracked to begin with, and the fact that it's undoubtedly the bastard clown's people only makes him want to-
Well. Let's just say he still has those anger issues.
But that would be a fast track back into containment and that would be worse.]
[ As soon as she's free to go, she'll be here hanging with the others. It's only for a short time though since she has to go back to containment/the lab soon. ]
Do you think they are going to move all those who were in the game to another site?
[ Or are they going to just keep the potential rebellion together? ]
[During those two weeks, Takumi keeps a low profile. After all, he doesn't want anyone to remember that he's supposed to be in not Witch related Containment still. He'll spend most of his time in Yoshi's bit phone but will come out to eat and visit a little..
A few times during the monitoring though those in captivity might see the security camera light go from red to a bright, familiar and friendly blue. And a voice and presence right by their ear, but unseen, whispering]
Don't say anything or react. They're still watching and I'm not supposed to be here...
[he will give them short updates on the others and a bit of comfort, but he can't stay long enough to have any real conversations- talking at all is dangerous, and doing this much is already so so risky]
This is for All characters who left via the portal. They will find themselves at a strange house in the middle of a Japanese city. While they are free to exit the gates at any time they choose to, they will feel the urge to stay behind for at least a little while. Anyone familiar with how Watanuki's magic feels will know that he's the one doing that. It seems he wants people to stay put until he can gather his thoughts.
Those who died and went into the dreamland during round 3 will recognize this as the same shop from the dreams, except it doesn't have infinite rooms or weird dimension-violating proportions. It is just a normal house with the normal limitations of a normal house.
Feel free to comment among each other about the location until I get a tag up for Watanuki to address everyone.
