Well, there were a lot of us. I'm pretty surprised nobody ended up getting hit by friendly fire, or just beating each other up instead.

It's what I was trying to do, since he seemed to be a spirit being. [ a sigh ] Though I'd probably have gotten in a lot of trouble if I did...I wonder, would they punish me until I spat him back up? It's a little chilling to think about, but...I would have done it if it was necessary.

The clown shinigami! He had a sword kind of like Ichigo's, but I didn't have Ichigo by then, so I couldn't tell anything else. I just didn't like his face at all.

No. Anyone can, I think. But if I pull spirit beings into the pocket, I can use some of my other magic to hurt them.

Right, spirit beings like... Servants, right? And shinigami and whatever the pink guy was and Ichigo and stuff. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't try out the Shadow Giant during the fight, even though it would have been useful not to have ears right then.

[And the Shadow Giant probably would have whapped at least a few people in the face considering how wiggly it was and how big it would have had to be to make much difference. HMMM.]

But if you trapped him in there, would you be able to open it again without him coming out?

Yes. It extends to anyone who's made up of "spirit particles", beings like youkai and demons, presumably, since they're not from the mortal plane.

That's....a really good question, actually. I hadn't thought of that. [ wow. leave it to Anon of all people to raise a good point ] The Space acts like a body of water, so it's possible he could drift away and we'd never see him again, but...it's really hard to tell apart different places in a body of water with eyesight alone. I could be opening my portals in the same place every time without even knowing it.

Of course...space is relevant when we're talking about an alternate dimension people are never supposed to have access to. I guess I need to experiment with it more.

Hmm. I know Celestials and Infernals each have their own type of energy, but I don't think we're actually made from spirit particles! We're just a different type of being from humans, and some of the other people here or at the Foundation and stuff.

[He's only demon-adjacent, after all. There's still flesh-and-blood-and-other-matter to go with whatever spiritual bits are going on there.

There's an amused hum at her expression. He is somebody who spent most of his life learning to fight and dissecting and stealing abilities, after all.]

So it's not an infinite space, probably? I really wouldn't know how it works unless I ended up swallowing you, and a bunch of people would probably get mad at me if I did that. [that is probably a joke] It sounds like we need to throw more things into your dimension! I think Watanuki is a hoarder, so maybe he can let you borrow some stuff.
