There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

It seems to me that it would be difficult for your sister to shun you, or for you to take her to the park, if you aren't planning to come back. This is why I say you need a better strategy.

Anyway, sure, let's just look for containers and start shaking them up to see if there's liquid inside or whatever.]

[There are some containers, but they mostly have liquid for maintaining the garden in them, and not gasoline.

But at the encouragement, Goat-kun nods.]

...I know. Dad always used to say that I looked on the negative side of life...and that I was stronger than I thought I was. He always believed in me....same with my little sister, which is why I want to save her so badly.

...I do want to come back. I want to keep living! And Aniki...I want him to go back to the way he was before! I just....don't know if I'm strong enough...

[Takashi makes an interests sound... and puts the little goat down and rummages in his pockets for his wallet. Once he finds it he hands over all the gold coins he had on him when he was brought here and hands them to the kid, whispering in his ear and sending him off.]

[Luna looks consideringly between the training montage children and the goat, and then... smiles beatifically and comes over to Takashi.]

What was it you were feeding the child, earlier?

[No training montage without food porn montages, after all.]

[Whatever makes baby goats and wet blanket goats grow up big and strong.]

It certainly seems to be. The little one is full of energy, and I do think it may be good for the bigger one as well.

[LET THE MONTAGE BEGIN.

We'll just speed through all the training, though those watching at home get this beautiful music to go with all the action.

The sun is beginning to set as they finish, and Goat-kun....looks stronger.

There are MULTIPLE good dings as the music fades out, and he looks at his hands.]

Everyone....thank you. I feel like...I can do this! No matter what Aniki throws at me...I can save my little sister! Thank you all so much!

It's getting close to when I have to meet him. I'll take the old chainsaw, but....I won't forget anything you all taught me, I swear!

[With that, He starts taking off towards the forest...but all of you could follow him if you wanted.]

[ Might as well follow him to root him on if needed. ]

[She’s here to popcorn whatever way it might go. Should be entertaining.]

[If they follow goat-kun, they'll find a dramatic looking cliff face, with the setting sun behind both him and what is undoubtably his aniki - a scarred looking Goat who's around his same size.

There's also a younger looking goat who's not muscly at all watching this, her hands clasped together in her white sundress, bleating fearfully with tears in her eyes.

The two stare at each other, and speak in...goat noises? It all seems very dramatic, at least.

Then, the fight begins. It's a fight filled with hard slashes and intense noises and the revving of chainsaws, but by using his all of mentor's training and Takashi's secret technique - pocket sand - he's able to turn the tables and land a fatal blow on the scarred Goat, and They have successfully won this day.

Though, as the scarred goat lay coughing, Goat-kun comes up to him...]

Aniki....why? Why would you try to do something like this?

Heh...heh....you've become strong, Goat-kun. Enough....so that I'm not worried about the future anymore....without me.

What?

....I was going to die either way, little brother. I...have a terminal illness....and I wanted to die in battle....and to know if my little brother could protect our family from here on out....
