MOCK ROUND - WEEK 2

There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

[Today, Silver is once again power walking around the mansion! It seems that despite his powers being back, he remains committed to his exercise regime. He does it in the morning this time! It’s not so hot!

He’s also not making the same mistakes as last week — he’ll NOT be doing this all day again. He carries an even bigger container of water with telekinesis as he walks.



In fact, around lunchtime, he’s packed himself a little picnic and is in the garden. But he also seems to have fallen asleep in the shade of a tree, and a seagull is eying his lunch greedily.


After lunch, he heads to the beach. He hovers above the waves, looking down into the water with sharp eyes, a serious expression, and ears pinned back — like a stalking cat. Suddenly, he holds his hands out, glowing cyan with psychic energy]

Hya!!

[an orb of water rises from the sea, suspended by Silver’s telekinesis — inside is a small school of shimmering fish]

Haha!! Got ya!

[Scarred had come back down to mope some more. And she's watching, whatever he was doing. Flight? Gravity manipulation?

Really it could be anything. Then he lifts the fish, and she has to comment on that.]

...What are you going to do with them?

Huh? Oh hey, Scarred. Um... I dunno! [he tosses the orb from one hand to the other -- the fish don't seem to notice] I just wanted to prove I could!

[Asuma's mostly hanging around the library, occasionally with the butt of a pen in his mouth as he pores over his notes, but...

Look. Even he's gonna notice a hedgehog power walking around the area.]

...Silver?

Oh! In the library again today, Asuma? [he stops! He's breathing hard, but not as bad as before] I'm keeping up with my exercise regime! But I'm doing it inside since it's hot outside.

He'll probably wake up to Luna having borrowed a morsel from his lunch, whatever it is, and gotten started feeding the seagull.

Probably the seagull's pleased eating noises and/or calling for more is enough to wake him?]

[it's a good-sized sandwich. And chips. And a couple of cookies.

The seagull's harsh cries do wake him up, and he grumbles, pawing at his eyes]

Oooof... [then he SEES WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE] .... Eh?!! Luna!! Stop that!!

[ Not a bad catch there, Silver.

That's certainly a lot more fish Riku could catch with his bare hands... ]

Eh? Riku! Heyyy! [he waves with his free hand, then floats over with his ball-o-fish in tow] Fishing? You could say that, hehehe.

[ So, the day starts out with a chance at spotting a few certain creatures (with most common being this). They're mostly just lurking around people, watching with what might seem to be innocent curiosity.

(With the Unversed, it's no matter if it's breakfast, lunch, dinner... or if Vanitas is even around.)

Vaguely around lunchtime, he's out practicing with his Keyblade, "fighting" against some of his Unversed. He's wearing his Day 1 clothes for this, so his face is hidden by a helmet. This is "fighting" because the Unversed don't seem to be doing much return fire - they're being used as... target practice?

Once training time is over, he'll be lingering in the kitchen, staring down at a cookbook he got from the library. He's gonna be trying his hand at curry for no reason in particular. Then, sometime after dinner, he's going on a hunt for someone familiar...

He said he'd behave if she didn't tell anyone, but Lambdadelta outright showed the thing to someone while specifying that's what she did! So! Does everyone remember that goat Vanitas tried to fight? Well, to make a long story short, he's on a goathunt for that one in particular. Thing is, his method of searching involves just a random fire spell at a goat's ass whenever their back is turned. ]

[Silver is being followed.

He noticed it about fifteen minutes ago, but tried to ignore it. He'd peek over his shoulder and see something dark dart away.

This time, he turns around SUPER QUICK, and uses his powers to levitate the little whatever-it-is and hold it still.

It looks like--]

A rabbit? Huh?

[ The Unversed is going to try to fight it??? Wow, hey, put it down!! ]

Kitchen

[This time, Asuma's being good! Not getting too absorbed in his studies, taking breaks...

He was out in the rose garden for a bit, clipping a few more to take with him when he catches the faint smell of curry. And, like a moth to the flame, he follows. It completely slips his mind that Vanitas could have picked it up from him earlier, because there's one person he associates with that smell, and that's-]

Yuushin?

[Hi Vanitas, there's a kid with his face pressed against the glass of the window peering in.]

[ Vanitas doesn't seem to notice, at first.

He's too busy having fun flipping a kitchen knife in his hand, for a moment, possibly looking super relaxed for once, before-- ]

[ There's a soft blink, and then he's glancing over at the window. ]

Oh...

[ Awwwwkwardly glancing away...

... then verrrrrry slowly going back to chopping and cutting stuff. ]

[The moment the spell connects, everyone gets a photo of what she showed takashi -

A picture of Vanitas, in a sweet lolita outfit, with ribbons in his hair and makeup on, looking angry but blushing as he sits at a tea table. It appears right in front of them, no matter what they're doing.

Vanitas, of course, gets none - and he can't even see what it looks like, as it just looks like plain white paper to him.]

Riku is minding his own business for now but he's laughing. Just wait til he meets up with Vani later...so much teasing to be had. ]

[Well, uh. Why is Vantias dressed like his sister when she was a kid? Bruno has no idea what to make of this.]

[Takashi already got to see the photo before, so there's no interruptions of his day. First he's back at the beach again, once again in his track suit. And with him is little Goat-kun... who he has running laps in the sand.]

Leveling up takes effort! Will is nothing without conviction! Go until you puke-!!

[Poor Goat-kun, though once they're done Takashi takes his new son back to the dinning room to get a drink and some lunch. Odd, Takashi vanishes into the kitchen for a bit and returns with a small plate that smells very strongly of blood, and the food looks like shiny red muscle chopped into bite sized cubes.

One might even catch him feeding the goat the bites like a fussy toddler. Cute (?)]

Oh, is that their proper diet? I thought they lived on candy.

[I don't know what the hell she's doing in the dining room when she doesn't do food, but hey, have a Luna. Maybe the smell of blood drew her here? She's examining the plate of muscle meat curiously.]
