There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

[ Like he actually believes that. Giving a shrug as he looks at the water for a moment. ]

It's a great way to stay in shape. Have to watch out for my figure after all of that cake, right?

[ Not that it looks like he put on any weight. ]

It reminds me of being back at the facility.

[ He's tilting his head a little. ]

[ Now he's going to look out at the water. There's a pause before he looks back over at Jack. ]

[ Now that's a surprise. Giving a wave to the water. ]

Yeah, it was on an island.

[ Look, Jack is an Islander. ]

[ He blinks, and then there's a hint of color appearing on his cheeks. He never had a reason to learn how, okay???? He can just... teleport his way around and use darkness to move through places! ]

I didn't say I couldn't swim.

[ Oh, an island, huh? ]

You and Riku both, huh?

Yeah? He did seem at home gazing out at the sea all serious like.
