There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

What do you mean by for now?

[ That doesn't reassure him of anything. He does keep his hand on him a little longer before giving him a totally friendly pat on his shoulder. Jack is really glad Riku is back. ]

People can see both of my eyes unlike someone I know.

[ He'll just flick one of Riku's bangs. ]

I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out.

[ Riku doesn't seem to mind that at least...he's gotten used to Jack by now. And honestly, being able to feel and touch things grounds him in a way.

That makes it clear to him that he really is back and then wow, the shade at his badass hair as one of his bangs is flipped!! Rude, he'll just flick right back at that hand, then!! ]

What was that? I can't hear anything. Must've been the wind.

[ You know what? Let's turn this into a hand duel. Just going to make a sword out of his hand to parry the flicking. ]

[ Let's just capture the offending finger. Wrapping his sword finger around Riku's flicking finger if he doesn't try to pull back. ]

Guess I can't be expected for you to let your guard down.

[ He has a finger trapped!! ]
