There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

It's probably still warm from being in there, too. From the way he waves his hands and holds his expression, it's almost like Canditas is some kind of joke thought and it's totally normal to keep a piece of someone who tried to frame you and killed someone you like being around. This is okay.]

Thought maybe you'd like to see what she made.

[ There's a lot more to it than that and it has to do with remembering what even happened. That keeping a piece would make sure he wouldn't forget either of them or what went down. ]
