MOCK ROUND - WEEK 2

There was only one week left in this game, if the Witch was to be believed.

Despite the trial and it's painful conclusion, everything had been quiet over the weekend.

And those that had been lost were supposed to come back on this day. Not only that, but their natural abilities were supposed to return to them this week...🗈

And, indeed, as they wake up on Monday morning - the feeling of their old, lost abilities filters back in.

One promise kept - so will the others be kept, as well? As the prospect of the final week in the game stretches out before them, there's a sense of anticipation in the air...along with the grim knowledge that this weekend, the investigation and trial will happen again.

At least it'll be for the last time, right?

Huh? Oh, don't even worry about it.

[She floats to a sitting position, making a hand motion for him to join her in the air.]

I made that look suuuuper real, you know? You thinking I broke my promise just told me I'd done it good enough for you all to buy it.

...It is a little annoying, but I'm magnanimous enough to just shrug it off, so don't worry or those large quills of yours'll fall out from the stress.

[he levitates himself, sitting midair in a fairly comfortable position. He has missed this! Air chair. He smiles a little, mischievously]

Well if you don't want people to think you're lying, you should throw it a little more, huh? ... Ahh? Not my quills! [he runs a hand through them, making sure they're all in the right place]

Mmm, I prefer it when people realize I'm not lying on their own terms. Their faces are always really satisfying to watch, you know?

...And your reactions were great! I couldn't stop giggling to myself when I saw all of you treating a normal plate of candy like someone's ashes!

[She waves her hand, and a floating table appears, along with a tea set and a few cookies.]

...Though, it's not like I couldn't do something like that to someone. I've made people into black tea if they bored me when making their wishes, or other things. But that's just because they weren't willing to put the effort in to try and achieve what they wanted, and just wanted to take the easy way out.

Hey! I puked! That's probably not very pleasant to watch! And it's definitely not pleasant to do! [he huffs] Oh well. At least the seagulls and the crabs got a treat... I don't like licorice anyway!

[tea! Don't mind if he do. He uses his powers to pour himself and Lambda a cup, then putting a sugar cube in his. He twirls his finger and the tea stirs itself]

Ah? Right. Boring wishes. Like just asking you to do something, right? Or something really basic like... "I wish I had a million dollars."

[She just cackles a little at the comment about puking, though she does take tea he pours, adding about three cubes of sugar. Lambda, predictably, likes things sweet.]

You understand perfectly, huh? Exactly. Those that can't grasp their own wishes and rely on others will never go anywhere. You have to have that one thing that makes mortals so special...that ability to change their own fate with just their own will.

That's what I bless, when I grant someone's wish. ...Though, for this game, I'm willing to bend my own rules with wishes, because all of you helped out with this. I'm just generous like that, you know?

[Silver laughs a little and sips his tea. Perfectly brewed~!]

And so humble, too. [is that grin kind of SHIT-EATING??? It might be] I have to think very hard of how to phrase my wish, then. I wouldn't want to disappoint you! Thankfully, I'm way more creative than just wishing for a million dollars!
