WEEK 1 - MINGLE

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[ She can't help but sigh, just a little bit. ] I guess I'll come with you, then. If the marks are visible for us, at least I can take a picture of it.

[and when they walk in, well. if you look at the walls, there are definitely... japanese tally marks on them. Mostly high up, where it wouldn't be normal for a human to leave that mark.]
One, two, three... [she's glancing over all of them, and counting.]

[ Inaba walks in behind Makoto, bowing politely and saying the usual 'sorry for the intrusion' under her breath.
The fact that they're Japanese tally marks sure is telling but she is definitely taking out her phone and counting the sets as well, taking careful shots with them. ]
That's quite a lot of them.

That's 182, like he said there would be. That means... he's right. They can rewind time.
But why...?

[ ... ]
What the hell. I mean, I get it, but there also has to be some sort of reason for it.

[she just. looks a little frustrated]
... This is so complicated.
[and then a soft exhale before she looks at Inaba and smiles]
Thank you for coming in with me, Inaba-san.

[ She understands that frustration herself, shrugging her shoulders. ]
And no problem. Going inside a ghost's room is probably pretty terrifying in of itself, even if he seems to be relatively friendly... although he's from Japan, huh. I wonder if he showed up here like the rest of us, since this place is obviously not Japan. There's too many signs of this being in America, or at the very least, an English-speaking country.

[she says, sounding pretty confident about that fact.]
The staff said as much, in their... usual frustrating way.
