WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Well, I can repel ice magic, but that doesn't apply to the weather.

[And, at that, he's moving closer so he can extend a hand to help Akira up.]

I know. It'd be too convenient.

[lifts one shaky, jello-y limb to grasp Hunter's hand, but like. he isn't pushing himself up. Hunter is going to have to do all of the work here]

[wrongtiming]

[He gives him a good tug...

But it's dealer's choice as to whether this will actually get Akira to his feet or just kind of... pull him along the snow. Hm.]

[purrtagonist]

[. . . he's probably just pulling him along in the snow, because Akira is a lump of useless flesh right now]

[SORRY. . . HUNTER]

[wrongtiming]

[Hm. After a few moments of this:]

How much of your dignity do you want to keep? Because I can go behind you and pull you up, but...

[purrtagonist]

[eh. . .]

It's already gone.

[wrongtiming]

[At that, he's moving to bend down further, positioning himself so he can loop his arms under Akira's to try and pull him up.]

[purrtagonist]

[he is LIMP LIKE A RAG DOLL and actually kind of heavy, sorry Hunter. but he is, at least, not making this anymore difficult on the other teen]

[even if he is also not making this any easier on him, either]

[wrongtiming]

...I know you said I didn't want to ask, but I'm getting a little worried, man.

[Despite that, he is doing His Best (TM) to hoist Akira up.]

[well, in that case, he'll actually put a little effort into it. and with Hunter's help, getting to his feet is actually pretty easy?? he may have been flopping about uselessly just to be a dramatic dork]

Sorry about that.

It's cool.

[As soon as he's sure Akira is steady on his feet, he lets go, taking a step back.]

But... If you wanted to tell me what was going on, I wouldn't mind.

Minato and I tried to use our superpowers to clear the snow away. It didn't work, because they did something to our magic to make it less effective than usual.

We're not hurt, but we're pretty tired.

[being out of SP and all]

[wrongtiming]

I wonder why they didn't take it away completely, in that case.

[He looks thoughtful for a moment, before shaking his head as if to clear it.]
