WEEK 1 - MINGLE
You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Look, sorry, I've just had a rough couple of days. Haven't exactly been sleeping well, either.

[He moves a little closer and, boy, does she look tired.]

I've just been having...bad dreams. It's nothing to be worried about, though. Guess I was just used to not dreaming during hypersleep.
[She's passing it off as the remainders of processing, you know, that whole alien attack thing, but she's not going to readily admit what she dreamt to Snake.]

[After his discussion with Phil, he got enough of an idea of there being some kind of shared dreams thing going on. Collective hypnosis? He wasn’t sure what to call it.
But, he also knew Ripley was, like him, involved in the armed forces. He knew someone didn’t have to go through what he did to be messed up by it.]
Not dreaming? That...doesn’t sound half bad.

Definitely makes the time pass by a lot faster. I don't know if I could handle dreaming for six months straight. Waking up's not any easier, though.

Thanks, but I don't need another adult telling me how to take care of myself. I got...enough sleep last night.

I'd hardly call myself a leader.
[She sighs, crossing her arms. It's not that she's not up for the job, it's just...she'd rather not. But it doesn't look as if anyone else is raring to take charge of the situation.]
I'm just trying to make sure that nobody makes any stupid mistakes that end up with all of us getting killed. That's all. [She sighs.] Though that's easier said than done with this many people.

It's not like Snake can't sympathize, he gets being forced into a position you don't want to take because it works out better for others. But sometimes, you just have to do the job you're good at.]

[Involving civilians in something like this was bad enough, but he doesn't like this extra detail one bit.]
