WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[Which isn't actually saying much. Okay, let's maybe try something more detailed...]

Mostly I'm tired, but it's not like I slept any less than usual.

Hmm.. Fatigue can be a sign of impending illness... has anything changed since your arrival here?

[duskhound]

Changes? I don't think so, but let's see...

I've been having some stomach pains, but I don't believe I've been injured there, and there have been a few dizzy spells. Both of those are things that have started happening since I arrived here.

It certainly sounds like an illness. [He'll remove his glove and place a hand on her forehead briefly, trying to see if she has a fever. At the same time, he'll be taking a closer look at her soul, looking for anything strange] Or... perhaps... are you just hungry?

[She kind of pulls back a bit when he moves to place his hand on her head, but can't really get away, so. She does have an elevated body temperature and dry skin. Looking at her soul shows a high concentration of magic, but not any signs of something that would explain her symptoms.]

...I shouldn't be hungry? I mean, I don't actually need to eat, so...

Um... Sorry, I don't like people touching me, so...

Ah, my apologies. You do seem a bit feverish.

[he puts his glove back on, then frowns]

You don't normally need to eat?

[duskhound]

It's something of a... special constitution some people have back home? We don't normally need to eat, and eating doesn't actually give us any nutrients, so we have to live off of our star energy. There are some methods to replenish it, but they aren't something that just anyone can get.

[Though none of that... seems to apply to her anymore, for. Some reason.]

I see... You know, I must ask -- did this change as soon as you got here? Or after the Mafia game was announced?

[duskhound]

Well,the stomach pains and dizziness have been there since Sunday, but the tiredness is new.

[well, so much for that. Unless she's lying.]

[he gets up and goes to the restaurant and returns a few minutes later with a glass of juice and a few packets of crackers]
