WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[A chair? Or maybe he should just sit where he is?

Ugh, his head is pounding.]

This way.

[gently tugging against him to lead him towards the nearest chair. he'll grab a napkin on the way there to help. . . clean up the mess. . .]

[He follows along readily enough! Once he feels a chair nearby, he sits on it, curling up a little from the pain still.]

[and Akira crouches in front of him, wiping at the blood tracks on his face with the napkin]

Thanks for trying. But whatever you saw made your eyes bleed.

Y-yeah...

[He sits pretty still as Akira wipes away the blood. It's only once it's been cleaned off that he cracks an eye open experimentally.

No more blood... That's a pretty good sign, even if his head is still a mass of pain.]

Like it... kept pushing me. So I pushed back.

[Too hard, it seems.]

[headaches can at least be handled with painkillers!]

Pushing you. . . like it was pushing you away?

Mm. Like... my focus was getting redirected?

Towards something in particular?

[He starts to shake his head and then winces because headaches are bad.]

Just... away.

[purrtagonist]

Away.

[he can tell Yoshi is in pain though, and he doesn't want to ask too many questions]

. . . okay. That'll do for now. Do you want something to drink?

[justonezero]

If it... helps.

[He just wants his brain to stop screaming in pain. It's almost unbearable...]

[purrtagonist]

Do you think it'd help?

[justonezero]

...No idea.

[Curling up more in the meantime though. Ow ow ow owwww.]

Let's get you back to your room. I'll carry you, okay?

Mm.

[That's about all he can manage, it seems. Luckily, he's a pretty light noodle for picking up.]

[well, then, picking Yoshi up and carrying him back to his room it is! hang on tightly, new friend]

[This is becoming a recurring theme with them, isn't it.

The room itself seems to give off a warmth and coziness the others do not, complete with a cute pair of cat and rabbit plushies atop the bed. Once he hits the bed himself, he'll curl up and stuff his face in the pillows.
