WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Atsushi isn't going to ask the staff any questions though, and is opting for just sitting in the lobby and trying to make himself appear as small and inconspicuous as possible.

I think if that happens, everyone has the right to worry... that seems only natural.

[Tsumugi pauses and goes a bit pink at use of her first name, but she guesses she could switch to first name for him too??? Erm. Maybe??? She'll just go with the flow.]

Y-yeah, I mean... it's not as much as a shock as it could have been, but having our suspicions confirmed like that...

[She read those rules and while this isn't exactly like that it's still irritates her. The only reason she isn't calling this whole game a ripoff of that is because mafia is an actual game.]

[Honestly Atsushi is Weird about when he uses first names and last names, so.]

I'm still holding out hope that the 'killing' is just a game mechanic and not actual killing.

[The mention of punishment by death if they don't participate doesn't exactly fill her with hope that that is the case though.]

I'm more worried about people who haven't been in tough situations before. They're the ones that need protecting.

[There is another longer pause at that. She's not one of those new to a situation like this. But she doesn't want to talk about it. So she smiles gratefully at Atsushi.]

Alright. There's not much plain old me can offer in return though... so this isn't an equivalent exchange, but I'll plainly do my best to support you instead!

[That actually seems to touch something in Tsumugi as a few emotions flash across her face before settling on a genuinely happy and flattered one.]

Well... Umm... knowing that and seeing you take care of the scarf too... it makes me plain happy to know that it meant so much to you.

[A smile appears on Tsumugi's face as an thought comes to her.]

Knowing that... I need to introduce you to the series it's merchandise from! I have all twelve volumes of Cardcaptor Sakura in my room if you don't mind me plain dragging you into the manga swamp!
