WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

M-maybe we shouldn't be planning our wills quite yet.

But anyways, there's really no need for both of us to get sick if there really is something wrong. And since I'm the one who offered them, it's only fair that I should test it.

...hmmm. Well, okay. I don't really like to let someone else take the plunge for me, but... if you're sure!

Haha... Yeah, I am.

[He's also pretty sure they're okay unless the staff picked today of all days to randomly poison him, so?! He takes a danish and bites into it. After a few moments:]

...Well, I don't feel like my stomach's turning itself inside out, so that's probably a good sign. And the danish itself isn't half-bad, either.

Well, that's good! They must be safe, then.

[She takes one and bites into it...]

Mmm! They are pretty good.

Yeah, my compliments to the chef. I'm not much of a gourmand, but whoever made these definitely knew what they were doing.

[He takes a sip of tea.]

So how're you finding this place so far, food aside?

I mean, I do think it'd be pretty great if we could, you know, just relax here and leave when we wanted to.

[she takes another chomp out of the danish.]

There's a lot of cool stuff I've never seen before, and my room's pretty great. If I wanted to just hang out somewhere, this place wouldn't be too bad, you know? It's just the mandatory game that I'm not sure is actually supposed to be murdery or not.
