WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

What's a dating sim?

I had no idea you were such a normie....!

Umm... I have some on the computer in my room if you want to try playing one. If you're new to the genre, you'll probably get a bad ending first though... especially if you try to pursue all the girls or guys at once and don't commit.

I wouldn't mind trying to play one later on. Maybe sometime tomorrow?

...Why would you want to get all the girls and guys at once?

Alright! Would you prefer a BL, Galge, Otome, or-

[Wait, probably should talk to this one in normie terms.]

Would you prefer to play as a girl dating girls, a guy dating guys, a girl dating guys, or a guy dating girls?

Well, if it's an eroge then the scene you get is plain-

Well... I don't think you're ready for that yet, but if you're getting the harem route, then you've probably played and fallen in love with all the characters during their own routes. So, if you can't choose one to date at that point, then you choose them all!

[ It takes him probably longer than it should to figure it out. Probably because to him all options seem actually feasible? Hmm...

Well, he can just pick one and start from there. ]

What about as a girl dating guys?

[ He looks confused at 'eroge' so he just wisely ignores it. ]

I don't think I'd really want to pick all of them, though. It's only good if you commit to one person.

An Otome with no harem route then...

[Tsumugi seems pleased by this choice and after a few moments of thought, she starts listing out ones she thinks would be best for beginners.]

I could start you off with one of the games in the Starry Sky series. It's plain in it's high school setting, but it's a good introduction to the genre for newbies. But, if you want to go for something with a complex plot right away, then Amnesia: Memories is a good choice. If you want a short and just plain weird one though, then you may like Hatoful Boyfriend.

I don't think I want to play a game that sounds dumb like Hatoful Boyfriend.

[ So of course... ]

Let's start with Starry Sky and then I want to try Amnesia: Memories.

[ Because yeah he does want to start off with a complex one right away, but he also wants to play Starry Sky due to the 'high school' thing sounding like fun! ]

There are four games in the Starry Sky series, each named after a season. So... with three boys per game, so that means you got twelve total routes to play through.

[But which one should she start him off with first?]

Hmm... I could start you off with the first one, Starry☆Sky ~in Spring~, but there's no downside to playing out of order. So if there's a boy in one of the other games that catches your eye, then it's okay to follow your heart and go for him first!

Roxas looks thoughtful about the possibilities in front of him, but...it doesn't really matter since he doesn't know much about the games thus far, right? ]

Let's go in order. I don't really know much about the other games to make any other decision.

[That works for her. Tsumugi nods to herself in thought.]

Right... do you want to come to my room and play through as much as possible tomorrow?

[She'll need time to make sure her Dakimakura are extra hidden.]

Sure, I'll come and play for awhile.

[ How many Dakimakura do you even have... ]

Maybe mid-day?

[At minimum Junko and Archer. But knowing her? Probably a fair amount. She needs to arrange them under her bed before he comes. NO ONE MUST SEE.]

That works! Do you mind if I watch?

[Needs to keep an eye on her room anyway. Make sure no Dakimakura fall out from underneath the bed.]

[ Wow... ]

Not really. It might be kind of helpful since I'm going through my first play around too.

[ Like...if he wants a second opinion or something. He's only going to plan on asking once or twice during dialogue selection because he thinks he can handle it all mostly just fine, thanks. ]

Well... since I'll be there, if you need help during the game, I guess you could consider me your tutorial NPC and ask questions.

[She's plain enough to be one.]
