WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[Sometime during the sleepover, some blankets are suddenly and mysteriously moved...to be like a nice little nest, in which an imprint of a body suddenly appears.

Everyone in the room gets a loud ping from their tablets:]

Hi, everyone. Looks comfy in here.

[Ryoga very gently pokes the blanket pile]

Oi, what're you doing?

You can actually feel that?!

Oh. I thought you were always in the tablets, but you're... actually here?

[She's totally staring suspiciously at the blankets.]

I'm right here, you know. You don't have to type back to me.

[The imprint shifts a little.]

[Look, it's taking her a little bit to figure out how ghostly vocal cords might work. She feels a little silly -- but only a little!]

Well, I didn't know if you'd be able to talk. You've only been talking to us through the tablet.

[She's going to approach a little, still cautious and curious. Then:]

You can hold things, right? Here.

[Tossing him the moogle.]

... That's a lot of blankets.

[ spoken aloud instead of typed but okay sure ]

Sometimes all you want are a bunch of blankets, you know.

[The ghost drapes a few over him, making it look more like there's a person under there.]

And I'm a little cold.

What kind of clothes are you wearing?

Actually. Do ghosts wear clothes?

[That's weird to see happen in real life... but Tsumugi shrugs it off and starts typing up a greeting on her tablet. No need to be plain rude.]

[That makes things easier. What to talk about though...]

[It jolts a little, as if Flat poked it in the wrong place.]

[Because he totally thinks that Ghost-san is doing the blanket-thing to announce his presence or something like that.]

[It's pretty crowded by now, so when he scurries over, he pretty much flops against the ghost. Sup!!]

Can you play games too? We've got a bunch!

[Well, when he flops, he'll definitely be able to feel like he just flopped up against a body! Something that isn't warm, but solid.]
