WEEK 1 - MINGLE

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

What should I make next? Maybe BitPuyo?
no subject
What's BitPuyo?
no subject
Maybe I'll get it running in the next couple days. I can show you then!
no subject
I've never played Tetris before either.
no subject
[He'll even send it to Roxas' tablet, if he accepts it!]
no subject
And then stare at it before getting it open. ]
Wait, how do I play this thing again?
no subject
We can play together once you're done!
[And indeed, there's a well-made tutorial that will walk him through the controls and overall goal of the game.]
no subject
[ Roxas manages to get through the tutorial with ease, making sure to pay attention. ]
I'm ready now, let's do this! And prepare to get your butt kicked.
no subject
[He starts it up! ...And begins immediately slotting blocks as quickly as he can with one clean row for an eventual tetris.]
no subject
So... he loses pretty quickly. ]
...Three out of five! Let's go again.
no subject
Okay!
[LET'S SLAM he. Isn't holding back at all this time, either...]
no subject
Then pouting when he subsequently loses every match. ]
...One day I'm going to beat you at this game, just you wait.
[ Ultimate sulking-mode. ]
no subject
There's a solo mode, too! You can use that one to practice and increase your skills!

What's with you and rabbits? And what's BitPuyo?
[She probably nabbed the Tetris app at some point, though she hasn't gotten around to gaming all that much till now.]
no subject
[Also rabbits die of loneliness. Foreshadowing.]
BitPuyo's another game, kind of like tetris! Two connected blobs fall from the top, so you have to group up at least four of the same color to pop 'em! But since they're just sticky, if there's space under them, they'll separate from the one they were connected to and fall as far as it can go like plop!!
no subject
[She is not here for foreshadowing or death, so she's totally taking that at face value and focusing on the gaming aspect of things.]
It sounds a little like you're playing with mochi when you put it like that... [it's hard to imagine without a visual!] Right, you're a programmer, so you can make a lot of different kinds of games... How complicated can they be?
no subject
[Tetris and BitPuyo are easy.]
no subject
[She sounds thoughtful as she starts going through the functionality on her wrist gadget. There's a quick glow and then she starts pulling cards out of it like some kind of magician. The joy of holographic gaming and all.]
The biggest problem would be building decks and monsters, but I have a lot of records. What do you think?
no subject
If I can extract the info from it, I can use that as assets for the app. Then I just need to code in the rules and make sure it's functional.
no subject
I can give you a basic rundown of the rules in a way that's easy to understand. And I've seen some of the inner workings of Link VRAINS. If we both work on it, hopefully it won't be too hard.
[She's just subtly sparkling right now, okay?]
no subject
[Heck yes something new to work on!!]
no subject
[Are you a bad enough badass to play card games on hoverboards.]
no subject
[He is not. At all.]
no subject
[They've never been normal card games, but that's Yu-Gi-Oh! verse for you.]
We can start with that. I need at least a little practice to stay in form.
