WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

They are! We were talking about what we wanted to see and do with Mother before I got here! It was really nice.

What sort of things did you discuss?

What we would do if we had a future.

[ Smiling as she says this. ]

Like learning why flowers grow and bloom. And seeing all the places we were sent to for a mission! This time it wouldn't be because of orders, though. We could actually see and enjoy it all.

That actually sounds kind of nice. Did you not have time to relax between missions?

We would have some time at Akademia, but we still had to listen to lectures. [ A moment there's a frown, before she's smiling. ] It was still fun.

Oh! I did learn about flowers here. I can't wait to tell everyone.

What kind of flowers did you hear about here?

Roses! And Anthy's name is Buttercup. Isn't it a cute name?

It is a rather adorable name!

The Staff did really great with names. [ A beat. ] Well, mostly great. Not sure about yours though.

[ She might be teasing. ]

Buttercup told me about why flowers bloom though!

My name is one that is befitting the scion of the heroic bloodline that flows through my veins!

Oh! Because of the bees and other animals like it that pollinate them?

Does that mean you're like royalty?

[ He doesn't act like it. ]


Yeah! It sounds like a cycle which is really neat. We never had the chance to learn about any of that before.

Well, I mean, yeah, but it's not really that big of a deal or anything.

What manner of school is it that you attended?

It is. It is! I've only met one once before.

[ Though she doesn't remember what they were like. ]

A really big one! Or it used to be really big. We were all learning to be Agito Cadets and it was a lot of fun.

What does being an Agito Cadet entail?

Well, normally they train in magic with the hope that they'll be picked by the Crystal.

[ Normally is the keyword there. ]

Then when the end happens, they can become Agito and save the day.

[ Hmm. This isn't a good topic any more. ]

Oh! What does being royalty usually entail?

[swordhandled]

[ hmm he can sort of tell that cinque is a little not that ok with this topic anymore, so he's going to help her with the topic change ]

Oh, nothing much for me! Growing up, I didn't have much to do with Ylissean government as Mother lived with Father in Regna Ferox. I'm far enough away from the throne that I only had to learn the basics of how to behave.
