WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

That's good to hear. You guys have any idea what that explosion was? It sounded like it was close to here.

... That was our fault. Mostly. Ultimately it didn't do anything but look flashy, though.

That would explain the snow, at least.

[A small smile appears on her face.] As long as you guys are safe. Don't get too crazy out here--we've still got monsters to worry about.

[... Yeah... Minato rubs the back of his head at that, dislodging some snow.]

You're right... sorry about that. It was a little reckless, I guess.

[She holds out a hand to help him up.]

Well, if...magic doesn't work to clear the snow, I doubt that any physical labor will clear it, either. [She frowns, tilting her head.] Huh. Who taught you magic?

[Honestly, this whole situation is mind numbing enough without trying to fight the preconception that magic exists.]

... Would you believe me if I said it just kind of happened one day?

No, but it's not like I have any knowledge about magic to question it.

[look she comes from a sci-fi horror film. magic is completely out of the question here.]

Let's hope you don't use any of that magic against anyone here, huh?

[There's a slow blink, as if it's only just now crossing his mind that that's a possibility.]

Oh... no. [nOPE.] It's for fighting--well, Shadows. Not people.

[...And just when she was thinking that magic might've been helpful on the Nostromo.]

Oh. [A frown.] So, it's...literally no different than if you were in, like, a video game, per se?

[messianic]

... I guess that's a fair comparison. You could probably use it against anyone if you wanted to, but...

[His brow furrows, and he shakes his head.

He doesn't really want to think about using his Personas against people.]

That's not how it's supposed to be. That would be wrong.

[Ripley nods.] Good kid.

[Let's just hope that he doesn't have to use them anytime soon.]
