MOCK ROUND - WEEK 1 INVESTIGATION

It had almost been a week since everyone had been brought here.
The days had gone by with no hint of trouble, not from the Witch, or any of her servants. It almost seemed like nothing would happen after all.

Yet, as everyone woke up...something felt different.
It felt...like they were about to take a step into the darkness.🗈

Like they were going to see something that shouldn't be seen....or feel something that shouldn't be felt.

This....was a fake game, right...? Then why....was there this ominous feeling? Like something nearby was just...waiting for them to stumble the right way, bringing them closer to it's hungry mouth...

...

No matter what it is, though, they had to step forward.

They had....to finally, truly start this game.

[It's...well, it's a wound. The issue here is that it's hard to tell what kind of wound it is. It looks a little like a knife wound, but...also kind of weird at the same time.

Though it looks like that this wasn't what killed Riku, despite it probably severing a few important blood vessels.]

As he tilts - and as that hair falls away - it becomes very clear what killed Riku.

His eyes are still barely open - the killer apparently didn't care about closing them - and there, in the center of his forehead, is a clear gunshot wound.]

Well, that sure explains that.

[He sounds almost chipper about this]

[I'm sure Riku would agree, if he wasn't fucking dead.]

[Bruno is gone so... he pops the gun out of his coat and checks the rounds. We missing one?]

Oh Culprit-san, you were messy, weren't you? Let the bullet hunt begin...

[First double checking if there's any other bullet wounds in our boy Riku here]

[No obvious bullet marks there, though there is quite a bit of blood.

There's also no marks on the door. Looks like the bullet that killed Riku's still inside of his head...]

Not a through and through. I'd say I'm sorry, but you're fucking dead, what do you care?

[.... he's legit gonna try to retrieve the bullet in his head if he can. Stake-chan can help though it's probably too thick to be a good tool]

There are some awful noises being made, and stake-chan can definitely help. After some, uh, rummaging....he finds the bullet, crumpled up from going through a goddamn skull and brain matter.]

[Assumedly it matches the bullets in his gun? You can never be too safe]

[Sure does! It's easy to see why it didn't go all the way through - this is a standard handgun, which means even from point-blank range, it didn't have a lot of power after punching through the skull.]

[Speaking of, does this gun match any if the ones he saw in the Master Bedroom when he was sniffing around earlier in the week?]
