MOCK ROUND - WEEK 1

All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a false murder mystery for two weeks.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request, to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Yet, with only a fake game in front of them....there's no proper sense of foreboding, is there?

....But maybe all of this...

...Is just the calm before the storm.

Whoa! [ And there is Jack, dropping it. It lands on the handle first, then it'll rock backwards towards Jack. He's just going to jump away. ]

[ Like it'll listen. But it doesn't seem to be actively going after him. It just starts trying to tear into the ground before stopping cause rocks. ]

Uh...[That's really not a healthy noise. The sound of a blade trying to cut through rock.]

I... I don't think it's alive.

[But she's not going near it, she's hiding behind him.]

It'll... just turn off on it's own, right?

[ Backing up, and keeping her behind him just in cast. He might be a goofball, but he won't let someone face shit on their own. ]

Maaaybe we should get the goats.

It... At some point it will run out of energy.

Do you think it's safe for them to go near it? What if their fur gets caught?

[Yes, she's worried about the goats.]

I don't know. They look really muscly. Maybe it won't even hurt them?

Being muscular doesn't do a lot against a blade...

They just seem like they goat to be tough, you know?

Yes, but it's still a spinning blade. Unless they have a spell to counter it.

We can always give them a heads up so they know to avoid it.
