MOCK ROUND - WEEK 1

All of the guests awoke in their rooms, just like they had before.

Yesterday had been a day of surprises.
First, they'd finally met the person who had brought them here.
Secondly, they'd learned they were going to be playing a false murder mystery for two weeks.
And most important, they learned that wishes could be granted if they won this game.🗈

Still, for now, it seemed like there wasn't much to do. Was the Witch already in talks with the 'Murderer'? Was the 'victim' already decided upon?

There was no way to know until some day later this week, apparently.

Still, it wasn't all bad. The island was beautiful and the climate just perfect for beachgoing, or taking a cosy walk in the garden. There were also board and card games which would be produced upon request, to help ease the boredom of it all.

Though, perhaps the guests would prefer to get to know each other instead? On maybe get into some trouble as they roamed the island.

Yet, with only a fake game in front of them....there's no proper sense of foreboding, is there?

....But maybe all of this...

...Is just the calm before the storm.

[She slowly draws her hand back to glove it again. For as much as she's hiding under the hood, she's not actually hiding her hand.]

I was trying to sense the ether within it. But I can't feel anything. Even a dead tree would feel of something.

[Bruno wouldn't have any room to judge the scarring, so he keeps quiet about that.]

The ether? What do you mean?

All things are made of ether. But in living things that ether can be manipulated.

Huh... [He's not sure if it works the same for his world, but he's not questioning the fact that trees are living things.]

So... You were trying to make the trees do something?

[ladyscarred]

No. But trees as large would normally be easy to sense.

It's unlikely they'd have anything to tell me about where are. They're not as mobile as the sprites in the air, but they're a lot more solid.

Ah...

Wait, what's a sprite?

This is going to happen a lot isn't it. [She's not upset by it. But she wasn't expecting no one to know about it.]

It's the soul of it. That's the easiest way to explain it... If there are things like that where you are from?
