WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

Someone asked if it has something to do with how much trouble some people have been causing.

[ SOME... PEOPLE, VANITAS...? Really.......? ]

Hmm... I guess so. It does look kinda like a jail.

A smaller scale representation of where we are, I guess.

Yeah, it's true. Except we're not strapped into anything, which kinda helps.

Not literally, anyway.

I mean, there's not even anything in there, so... still better out here! A little better.

[ He shrugs both shoulders a little. ]

Guess you have a point. Like comparing a bonfire to a campfire?

Maybe more like being held in a dungeon versus being held for ransom in a fancy castle you can't leave.

[ There's a quiet 'heh'. ]

Though, thinking about it, do you think we could stick someone in here if we found out they were a monster? Would that end up with anyone getting killed?

[ He's quiet for a moment... ]

Given what all I imagine they're capable of, they'd probably break free. [ a brief shrug ] Or one of their friends would let them out.

Yeah, that's probably true... and I mean, if someone was guarding them, they'd be in danger.

Exactly. It'd require learning their weaknesses first, which... [ vague gesture ] ... clearly isn't working out for anyone, so far.

[ Such a ray of sunshine, this one. ]

Not yet... but hey, maybe we will figure it out sooner or later!
