WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

An enemy sighting.

[ Said absolutely deadpan and with gravity in his voice, though he'll open the closet a bit again so Roxas can take a look and confirm that nothing actually dangerous is going on. ]

Judging by the look on Roxas' face, he doesn't really look excited. The polar opposite of excited, really. ]

[ Can't escape...truly the worst enemy this hotel could've bestowed upon them. ]

[ Roxas' mouth opens - and then Kohaku says not to answer that, so his mouth closes right after. ]

Too bad we can't just destroy them, right?

It's honestly tempting...

[ Staring at the Otamatones gloomily as he imagines their gruesome death... ]

But having staff punish us for it would feel like losing to the things... Maybe if it looks like an accident...

...Yeah, that'll be lame. Do you think they'd be able to figure it out if it looked like we didn't do it on purpose...?

[ The most serious questions asked in all of their time here... ]

I'm not sure... bastards keep popping up out of thin air, so it's hard to find a real blind spot.

[ Then again, if they did find one, that might actually be useful for the future. These are clearly experiments for the greater good. ]

[ Puffs cheeks for a moment before - wait he might have an idea. ]

...Maybe we can run around the whole place asking randomly for staff and seeing if they pop out of nowhere?

[ Oh, smart. ]

Can't hurt to try. It's not like they'll punish us for just talking to them. Hell, they let me stab one of them without issue before.

Probably because they could just disappear away.

[ Sometimes when you think of doing silly things you can come up with interesting options... ]

But yeah, I don't really think it'll hurt at all either. The worst thing they can do is walk away.

[ Which sounds a teensy bit amusing to him considering, but he'll take what he can get out of this sitation. ]

Testing the limits of what they can do and are aware of is going to be useful in the future either way, hell frog instruments or not.

[ Because why give the otamatones the honour of being called by their real name...? ]

Hell frog instruments? Does "Otamawhatever" actually mean "hell frog"?
