WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

Yeah, I think so too. You and Cinque happened to get the more difficult part of the mission than even I did since I remember what Vanitas and I were doing was the "easy" part, even if it was still dangerous.

[ ... ]

...But we're still here after being forced to do their dirty work, so it did work out.

[ Just not the whole apparent Foundation's 'well now we're going to throw you into this shithole bkthx' part that came after. ]

The easy part?

Yeah, it's all still the same either way. It's a bit worrying not just being involved with that organization but also the fact we had memories erased only to be remembering these things in bits and pieces.

Yeah, the "easy" part was locking it.

I wonder if that was on purpose...or if it was just a matter of the memories starting to return naturally after awhile?

Yeah, I guess that would be.

I think something like that had to be on purpose especially when it's something we're all experiencing.

In a way.

[ Because apparently they were still in danger but...ultimately that was definitely less dangerous than fighting the dang thing. ]

At this point, if it were on purpose, why even bother having our memories erased? Do you think they thought it'd be easier for us to carry out their dirty work this way?

I'm not really too sure of that myself but I wouldn't be surprised if it's another part of this game either.

I really wouldn't be surprised either. [ ... ] But then again, when we even got to the Resort, we still didn't have our memories, so it probably happened before the game did.

Yeah, I agree it happened before we got here but it's still connected though to us ending up here and coming to the resort in the first place.

[ Roxas will nod at that, it's definitely undoubted that all of this was connected. ]

...Yeah, it is.

I just can't make sense of why but hopefully we'll get answers to that soon.

I'm sure we will. As mysterious and annoying as this place, it kind of seems like we're able to get answers to some of our questions even without looking for them.

[ But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be looking for answers. ]

Yeah, I've noticed that too but hopefully when we are still looking for answers, we'll find something through that too.
