WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

[Thanks Akira. With a pointed sigh, Tsumugi focuses. Then, her hair starts moving. It streatches and shrinks in places, changing color and texture. After flashing through a wide variety of possibilities, the hair color finally settles on a deep brown with a silky texture. The 'hair' then proceeds to wrap itself into an complicated rose-like hair style. She's been practicing. If she's going to be outed like this, let her show off.]

Ah! That's so cool! You can be your own hair stylist!

I could be my own before too. You learn a lot styling wigs.

Yeah, I can do any style, texture, or color.

[She runs an affectionate hand along her hair, which seems to wiggle in response. Her precious babies are the best.]

Imagine the anime hairstyles you could do for cosplay with an ability like that.

[That is the best part of all this to be honest. Never having to touch a wig again for her own cosplay purposes... although she's still doing them for others.]

[If he reaches out he can, although that would result in the hair wrapping around his arm in response.]

[A giggle is gotten out of Tsumugi at that, as she turns to face him. A strand of hair reaches up from the mass on his arm to pat him on the head affectionately.]

Ah geez... don't you know not to touch a cosplayer, Atsushi-kun? Look, don't touch! It's one of the basic rules of a con.

In my defense, I wasn't originally able to do this. I just had plain hair before.

Whoa... I'm guessing you've never had to pay for a hairdresser before? [Now that the initial shock is gone, he looks pretty impressed.]

[Her hair gets more fond petting. So fond of her sweet babies.]

I woke up here like this. It was plain confusing to suddenly be not so plain anymore, you know?

[It's good that her memories keep giving her more context to her powers.]

[blinks at her, then huffs a laugh, pressing his knuckles to his mouth]

Sorry. I just said the first thing I thought. But it's true-- you are beautiful.
