WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

Well, guess we can consider ourselves lucky that some assholes sent us here, because that means there has to be a way in and out of this void hell.

Indeed. We got in, there must be a way out.

Though I'm not sure we're in any place to utilize the exit... like flies trapped in a pitcher plant, forces conspire against us.

Well, maybe if we do a good fucking job with whatever they want us to do, Foundation folks will pick us back up as a reward so they can, if nothing else, toss us into a different death trap next.

They may not be able to reach us, either. They are strong, but not all powerful. Some SCPs are beyond even their abilities to contain.

Oh, that's real fantastic then.

[ He'll just run a hand through his hair in frustration. ]

Do you have any good news?

I know what can kill the barghest and I know who the Jorogumo is!

But I have no way of telling you. It is incredibly frustrating.

.......oh, what the hell.

[ THIS IS THE WORST?? The guy is literally sitting in the room drinking tea with them and he has the answers to 1/3rd of their problems...?? And just..... nothing can come out of it. ]

Can you at least say shit like 'cold' and 'getting warmer' or something?

Every time we try, our messages are scrambled. Even if we write on paper. Apparently, cheating is highly frowned upon here in the Resort.

Of-fucking-course they'd be against cheating when they're the ones making the rules up as they go.

[ Just going to hit the table he's sitting on with his fist, because he needs some way to let out the frustration. ]

Trust me, I understand. But I'm not entirely sure that this mafia game is how we get out of here. Maybe it's just a distraction.
