WEEK 3 MINGLE

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.
The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...
And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[?????]
Did you sign up to join this, um, mission too?
[Is this even a mission, she genuinely still has no idea because it sounds like you're pretty fucked whether or not you're a Foundation agent. A D-Class, anyway.]

[oh god the illuminati incident]
There's this app the Foundation uses to keep track of agents? We got our hands on it, but didn't know what it was for. So, uh. A bunch of people just kind of signed up on it.
But that's probably unrelated to this mission! I don't remember anything about exactly why we're here yet.

You signed up for something... in the middle of a murder camp when you didn't know what it was.
[Her voice is a bit flat but also there's some irony in it. Y'all. Y'all.]
... It kind of sounds like nobody really knows why we're here. Is this what the Foundation usually does to its agents?

[But it really, really wasn't.]
And I think so? At least to D-class agents since we're considered expendable.

[Go on, tell her about the bisaster, I dare you.
Anyway, she's quiet for a moment, just absorbing everything that's happened this morning -- and all before breakfast again, probably, what has this place got against having a peaceful morning meal. Anyway.]
They're all about protection and whatever, but I get the feeling they're not very good at it.

[He is not going to talk about the bisaster. Not to anyone, not ever. You can't make him.]
And they're... well, they do stop a lot of dangerous things from happening all around the world. But. Yeah.

I remember. I think we all do. But I still don't think that makes up for them doing things like this.
[That comes out in a bit of a hiss. She'll have to be forgiven for being a bit Resort-centric right now, despite all those memories. Maybe because of all those memories too.]

... I get that. But the rest of us didn't necessarily join for the same reasons. I get the feeling that nobody gets much choice in anything considering how we... exist here, but I just...
[It feels like dancing in the palm of someone's hand again. All of her and her memories used as playthings against her. It's something she was not at all eager to experience ever again, much less so soon.]

It is possible for us to go home, you know. Even if it's not very pleasant.

[And it's something she's going to have to sit down and have a real hard think about if they make it out of this. There are so many things and people that need her at home that it makes her head spin to think about. It's so strange to think about the fact that her world spans two now.
For now, though... She refocuses a little.]
But for now, there's no way out of here. So this is what we'll have to deal with, isn't it? The Foundation might have to come a little later.

Yeah. For now, we need to focus on stopping the monsters and getting everyone back to life and out of here.
