WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

Roxas just closes his eyes and moves his free hand to rub at them. Then he'll open his eyes looking...still upset. ]

There's protecting the world and then there's being thrown away like your lives don't mean anything in the hopes that maybe, just maybe it'll work out.

I never asked for this, none of us did. And I don't think it's fair to force that on all of us when we never wanted any of that or this in the first place.

[The hand tightens a bit reflexively, and he might feel the rest of the body's movement as the ghost tries to type with one hand.]

i guess... other people had other things they wanted to do with their lives, huh?

[ He blinks at that, looking down at his hand for a moment, but then remembering he can't really see it. ]

And honestly, if I'm going to be saving a world, I'd also liked to have made the choice myself.

[There's a significant pause this time before he starts typing again.]

[ He'll turn, and then realize he can't face him so he'll just look down at his hand instead. ]

I don't think you need to apologize, you're just trying your best.

[ And they so happen to have different ideas when it comes to what The Foundation's doing. He doesn't think he'd have a problem with this organization if they offered people a choice to join and also weren't so quick to throw people's lives away. ]

We can still work together to stop this game, that still hasn't changed. And I think that's something we can do so we can get out of here, right?

Actually, there might be something. I'd planned on making a trip to the roof with Aoi, and that turned out to be a bust. But I still want to do something, so...tomorrow I might need your help with something when I look around.

i think what's messing me up is trying to process too much

so if i look for stuff that's easy to figure out first before i try to look into it deeply maybe that'll make it easier?

Starting simple is probably best anyway. That kind of stuff manages to get missed all the time.
