WEEK 3 MINGLE

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.
The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...
And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

If you think you could help me, I'd... appreciate it. Also, are you doing okay?
no subject
Not the... worst situation I've been in. [ there's a lot he's not saying there ]
But I believe I can help you. [ he turns around and grabs two of the training swords before passing one to her ] Here you go.

[ She's quiet for a moment but sighs. ]
Okay. I'll believe you for now. Thanks.
[ Inaba takes the practice sword, weighing it in her hands as she tries to figure out how she should hold it. ]

[ he takes his own training sword, and shows her how to hold it. ]

[ She adjusts her stance a little bit, copying exactly what he's doing. ]

[ he nods ] Your dominant hand is going to be used to guide the blade, while your other hand is gonna be what's used to force the blade to move.

[ She tightens her grip a little bit and then uses her left hand to swing. Up and down her arms go. ]
Like... this?
no subject
[ he holds his sword up, keeping it a small distance away from his body ] And keep it at an angle as well. That way, if they blindly charge in at you, they run into the sword, and they don't run the sword into you.

[ She's not entirely sure about sword terminology. SENSEI TEACH HER!!! ] Okay, so I'd have to at least tilt it a bit?
no subject
And yes, tilt it slightly.
