WEEK 3 MINGLE

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.
The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...
And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

... It sounds like this is a pretty big Foundation. They were talking about different classifications, too. I'll bet there's a lot more going on that even Kurosaki-san doesn't know.
[Which means that they have a lot of work to do, and a lot more unfairness coming, but after some of the things she's seen and heard at SOL Tech, she's... started to see this side of the world. The scale and ridiculousness of this is something else, but still.]

I wonder how many Agent levels there are, if we're just D-class...
[ But, the point she raised about Ichigo not even knowing, he thinks he'll agree with that...organizations are like that, after all. ]
If we're all so lowly ranked, it really wouldn't be surprising if they didn't tell him all that much.

[It's thoughtful, unhappy but somehow nostalgic.]
They use people like Kurosaki-san and Hibiki-kun and everyone else.
[Even Nanashi, if she thinks back to his journal and his thoughts about the Foundation. She's still not sure what exactly her own thoughts were. It's all scattered. But she doesn't at all like the picture they're all putting together.]

[ That didn't sound cynical at all , nope. ]
And they don't care either, because it's not them on the frontlines, so why would it matter to them? I wish they'd just have a...
[ He just trails off, and his shoulders kind of slump. For now he's kind of cooled down but it's not any better. ]
Whatever.

[She totally understands the cynicism because hoo boy. But also, she's seen firsthand what happens to good people in places like these. She's still seeing it. It makes her angry, but most of all it makes her determined to give them a piece of her mind. She's tired of just watching.]
There's all of us, and there's Kurosaki-san and the ghosts. There's more of us than there are of them.
[There's some strength in that, even if they're still the underdogs here. They're in enemy territory and there's no one at their backs. But then, it's the team part that's the strange thing here, isn't it?]

[ Roxas can't really understand it, not like that. But he's curious to know what she means, because he feels like he's just missing a point to it, that's all.
...Either way, he's not content on watching either. ]
...I think it'll be enough, with all of us here.
[ If he keeps saying it, he'll believe it in time. ]
We really just need to keep looking at things, learning more, and doing the best we can to defeat all of them.

[And most organizations have a mission that -- on the surface -- seems worth believing in. Or at least, it started out that way. She thinks back to Vyra and the other Knights of Hanoi. She's still not certain if she understands their beef with SOL Tech, but what she does understand is--
She's grown up in one sort of shadow and grows now under another. What keeps her going is, somehow, the people. So:]
And if our memories are true, then we've worked together before. We've dealt with things like SCPs. That has to count for something.
[This isn't their first rodeo or the first time they're working together, supposedly. It's definitely still weird. But she's okay with that, right now.]

[ Roxas wonders if there was anyone who really believed in the mission in Organization XIII. Maybe there was someone at the beginning, but...
Really, it's so hard to tell when he hardly knew any of them. ]
I think it does. [ He just has to hope that it means that they'll be able to find a way out of this together with that experience. And then break some Foundation guys' noses. ] Speaking of our memories, though, why do you think they got all fuzzy and are only slowly coming back? Do you think that was something the Foundation did too?
