[Saturday dawns, bright and early again - and Undyne comes to the inn, flanked by the Royal Guard...all of the Dogs in the area, in their armor or uniforms.

You all only have enough time to get ready - wash yourselves, put on your masks and clothing - before you're ushered out, guarded so heavily that it's clear they expect trouble. Monsters on the way watch you warily, whispering and looking shocked.

It's clear they no longer have such kind thoughts of you, after what happened.

You're all lead out past Snowdin and Waterfall, into an area that's hot, and the glow of subterranian lava lights the area. Then, past a large hotel...into an area that looks metallic, where some kind of whitish, rainbow-gleaming liquid can be seen below.

You know where this is.

In this area, you are led to a wider platform that is still open to the liquid before, with the handrails in place - where there are some seats around, and a familiar face waiting to speak with you.

This...for all of you, it is a familiar sight.

It is a trial location.

You are here to find the killer...and convict one of your own, in a murder that makes no sense.

But you have no choice.

You can only forge ahead....and try to find out the truth.]

Footprints Part 1

I happened to come across Sherlock in the midst of an investigation, and we easily noticed quite a few footprints.

First were a normal set that went from Snowdin to that...village. Then one set with strange-shaped prints that go alongside the normal ones. There's also a set of just the odd footprints that go from Temmie Village, through Snowdin, and then all the way back to the Ruins.

[ Let's pretend he had a doodle here that's been helpfully supplied by the mods because player is directionally challenged and maps are hard. Though someone else saw the footprints near the inn which is why that's being left to them.

He'll also leave the rest of the other details up to Sherlock. ]

They were, and Both sets were walking at a pretty lesiurely pace.

The Inn

Yoshi-san and I investigated the Inn. We found that the windows for Rooms 2 and 5 were open, and that there were strange footprints around the entire Inn, including around both windows.

In addition, a knife was missing from the kitchen. My moon shoes were also missing. We were unable to gain access to Room 2, so I have no idea if anything were missing from it.

The door was locked, yes. Room 5 was as well, but that happens to be the room I stay in.

ruins evidence

We found a few things in front of the ruins entrances - one of them was a bloody knife [she takes that out from her backpack; wrapped in bandages] on the side closest to the playground and a lantern in the center entrance.

Try not to touch the knife too much - if we get stuck, there's something I want to try.

...I inspected the body. [Having finally done that, she now knows that she hates it.] I have pictures, if anyone wants to go over them.

Wei-san had been stabbed just below the ribcage, seemingly at an upward angle. That was the only injury I found. There were signs that he moved around some after he fell, but stayed in the same place. He also had blood on his hands and hair.
