In this area, you are led to a wider platform that is still open to the liquid before, with the handrails in place - where there are some seats around, and a familiar face waiting to speak with you.

This...for all of you, it is a familiar sight.

It is a trial location.

You are here to find the killer...and convict one of your own, in a murder that makes no sense.

But you have no choice.

You can only forge ahead....and try to find out the truth.]

The evidence is pointing toward someone who is a thief and who had a temmie item. Also Room 2 was used but we didn't get access to it.

Someone may be trying to set up our resident thief.

It's either that or he's very sloppy and definitely did it and all the evidence is as direct as it seems because Occam's Razor suggests that the easier solution is usually the correct one.

Honestly, I thought the simplest solution was that the killer had legitimate access to room 5, started there, and left through the window to break into room 2 and steal the item from there.

Not at first glance. But second glance would show that, making it the new obvious.

Just immediately "a thief", "this item in particular", and "very wily in execution of this crime" does point more to someone from the criminal element to start.
