WEEK 2 - EXECUTION

EXECUTION

Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.

The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, just like before. You arrive at the chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.

The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful face somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.

"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

[ As soon as he's gone and she knows he's no longer there, she'll sink to the floor. Her hand is still there in the water. Her other arm going up to cover her face as she cries.

This is the weight of taking a life... and it was all for nothing. ]

[ Yeah, that sure was all for nothing.

Roxas isn't sure that she should be just...remaining where she is though, so eventually he'll make his way over. But, he'll reach out to place a hand on shoulder first. ]

[ She flinches at the touch, and then looks up at him. Her eyes are bright and watery.

It takes only a moment before she whirls around and jumps at Roxas to hug him tight. Sorry about the wet hand. Just going to cry on him ]

[ At the surprise hug he almost quite literally falls over, but yeah that's a hug now, and he just stands there kind of awkwardly before moving a hand to pat on her back. He'll even just let her cry on him for a little bit too, and properly return the hug even - he then draws his hands away, speaking quietly. ]

...hey, want to head back?

[ Maybe it's time for a moment of sharing some ice cream. ]

[whirlingmace]

[ She'll give a nod. Slowly pulling away but she'll put a hand on his arm. ]

Yeah. Yeah I do...

[ Sniffling ]

[ Roxas' eyes follow the hand, but he doesn't make any sudden movements, before looking back at her. ]

Okay. Then...let's go.

[ He'll wait if she needs to adjust where she's placed the hand on his arm, but then begin to lead her away from all of this...and out of the chapel. ]
