Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.

The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, just like before. You arrive at the chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.

The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful face somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.

"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

[The Lady continues speaking once she's certain she has everyone's attention, as Flat arrives, flanked by The Captain and another Staff member.]

Every execution needs an executioner.

Cinque. You have been chosen as Flat Escardos' executioner today. Please join me and your victim up before the Altar.

[Without waiting for a response, she continues -]

Please pick from one of these methods of execution: Hanging, Drowning, Stabbing, Strangling, Immolation, Electrocution, or the Iron Maiden. You have ten minutes to decide.

[ flat doesn't look all that worried. he smiles at the crowd, and even waves at them. ] Good morning, prey! As I said yesterday, today I will die for the sake of my God. But, in reward for my sacrifice and devotion, I will not perish-- I will live again, to continue hunting and feasting on all of you! To you, Akira Kurusu and Makoto Nijima...my Lord dedicates this to you. [ and then, he turns to cinque, the wide smile growing ] So, my dear executioner. How would you like to exact your revenge on this flesh body? How would you like to make Flat Escardos suffer?

[ She's startled at her name being called. Clenching her fists as she approaches the altar. ]

[ She's without her usual peppiness. Her heart is pounding and she really doesn't like any of this. Looking away as he says revenge. She's shaking her head. ]

I'm just here to stop the hurt.

[ Cinque only knows how to smash, and none of these methods are smashing though. So... drawing in a shaky breath as she decides to keep her words as short as possible. ]

[ So a lot happened last time someone was executed (the 'a lot' being the execution really even if he'd looked away when it'd happened), so he didn't catch the otamatone conversation then. ]

[Ellie arrives... with glitter on her hands. And also a piece of paper. She holds the paper up towards the Executioner, and the paper says exactly one thing:

[ She'll see it while making her way to the altar. Giving a nod. ]

[He sits back, less fidgeting than he was the first week, but there's a sullenness to his face]

[ quietly calling out her name, just watching and waiting to see what happens ]

[There isn't much to say in these situations, so he stays quiet, watching Cinque with a solemn expression.]

[Ripley is here, physically. Emotionally? That's up for debate. She stares off into space, deliberately not focusing on Flat or Cinque as she twirls her hair with one finger.

Cinque shouldn't be the person do to this. Realistically, none of them should be the person to do this.

[ He's here, watching (for now) all of this unfold before him...because it's not like they have a choice to be elsewhere, and the execution hasn't fully progressed yet.

He doesn't have much to say this time, but he's watching Cinque more than Flat. ]

[ This time, Chu-Chu is here. He's nibbling sullenly on a stale bread roll that's been unwrapped from some tin foil.

Anthy momentarily glances back to where Yoshi had sat last time, then looks forward to the altar. ]

[he is here, and he isn't bruised, what a surprise! and even when his name is brought up. . . his expression doesn't flicker, even though his eyes narrow behind his glasses]

[She’s standing at the very back again, but this time there’s a ferocious frown on her face and it’s all directed at the Barghest in front.

She keeps quiet, though, just watching carefully.]

[Shirou is also not bruised this time! He's also a whole lot less talkative than last time, just looking very, very tired.]

[All of that, and for what? The Barghest got away, just as Ellie had feared. They might have narrowed the method down slightly, but this doesn't make him feel any better.

Atsushi watches the execution all the way through, but by the end of it his hands are shaking.]

[she takes a deep breath as she watches the execution. it's... a thing, alright, and even if she's slightly less torn up about it, she still looks just a little bit ill as she watches it.
