RECORDING 11: THE FOURTH MURDER.

A fourth week, and this is now definitely routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

You must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone.

[ Well luckily somebody else was handling the mess re: bedrooms area so he didn't concern himself with that.

Gilgamesh will encroach upon this area because plot demanded it. Though, he'll stop shortly so he could look from the doorway to see what might be going on in here first before even thinking of stepping in. ]

[Well, he'll be able to tell that there's a mess in here. A chair, and a few supplies have been knocked over, and in the center of the room lies Saphir's roomba, quietly sitting there while looking somewhat banged up.]

[ Let's take the chair and few supplies knocked over, and step in while keeping alert here. Anything else notable about these things over here other than they've been hit over? ]

[ Honestly, this morning is a mess in a thousand different ways. Sometime after Hikage steps through the blood at his door, deadpans it for a solid minute or two and grabs a quick glass of water he's here. Sissel and Rosa have that covered, and his head is pounding so off somewhere quieter it is.

Doesn't mean he still can't be useful, though. ]

...I'll take the robot. [ Because he actually spent a good amount of time in here with Saphir earlier this week, and he totally didn't almost drop the thing. So before he picks it up, what's he looking at here? Is it just banged up and sitting on the floor? Are there any marks/dirt/ etc? ]

[The chair is a normal chair, and the supplies are basically what was already sitting out - things like sheet metal and wiring.

As for the robot, it looks kind of how it would if someone tripped over it. There's also exposed wiring sticking out.]

[ Alright, while Hikage took control of the robot situation, would he be able to find something else off about sheet metal and wiring? Such as, do they look like they've been used/damaged?

If not, would there be anything else noticeable about the room now that he was inside it? ]

[ Hmm. Well he'll look at the wiring without touching it, is it frayed or cut? He probably needs to inspect this roomba up close, but there's a better person for that job, particularly this morning. ]

[There are a pair of surprisingly clean work gloves shoved in with the rest of them that gil might notice.

the wires have been cut, with some stripping/ fraying around the edges. enough to make it so that the wires are clearly exposed and potentially dangerous.]

[ Okay. That'd be to take with him for later, he supposed.

What about the chair? Nothing hidden around there either, right? ]

[ Noted. And this is as far as he's willing to go personally, so time to get Saphir. ]

I'll be back, we should have Saphir look at this.

Time to wait for Saphir to come in and cry over his roomba.]

[ While we're waiting for Saphir to weep tears of distress, he'll kind of...check if there's any traces of magic he could sense in the room. ]

[ Okay, just to make sure everything's been checked since no clear yet, he'll be checking out the work bench, and desk for anything strange.

If nothing's there, he'll take a peek over at the machinery parts. If nothing's there as well, are they good... ]

At least, there doesn't seem to be anything you can get from this area.]

I kid of course. Anyway he'll head off and uh assuming there's nowhere else or nothing he'll spot as he came out of the Lab despite being very observant, he'll set off to probably check other rooms for traces of magic. ]

[Okay, here's Date who is still completely fucking hung over but Gil pulled him over and bitched him out enough to contribute some... thing to this investigation. So he's here.

To stare blearily at a pile of junk and machinery parts. Is there anything new to see with x-ray?]

...okay, this is not nearly as bad as the entire lab being rendered unusable or something at least, so definitely not a worst case scenario, BUT HIS ROOMBA!!! ]

What kind of savages did this?!

[ He's also still in whatever wrinkled clothes his drunk ass fell asleep in after the party, with uncombed hair, so this is just a very sad picture all around.

Is there anything else he can notice here? Were any parts removed or anything? Does it look like it was used after the wire was cut? ]

[Oddly, it looks as if only pretty minimal changes that don’t mess too much how it works were done. So no, no parts removed, sans the wires sticking out. There is a slight...almost pork-like smell on them, though it'd be inadvisable to get too close without turning the machine off.

You gotta kill your baby to fix it, saphir.]

Ugh. It smells like rappig meat.

[ THOUGH HAVING WORKED WITH PLENTY OF BATTLEFIELD CORPSES WITH VARIOUS MORTAL WOUNDS, heeeee's pretty sure of what it actually is. Especially if no parts were actually taken out of it.

[The roomba is dead.

Still, beyond that - and the dents someone made while tripping on it, as well as the few pant fibers stuck in it's wheels, which might explain why it wasn't moving - There doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with it.

Fix up those wirings and clean up the wheels, and it should be fine.

You don't think there's anything else you can glean from the roomba.]

[ Well, the fixable part is a relief.



...he's taking it with him in case someone has a grudge against it now.

Is there anything visibly out of place in the rest of the lab that he'd notice that hasn't already been looked at? ]
