RECORDING 9: THE THIRD TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Jack, looking expectant and as militaristic as ever.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

But this time...potentially, someone innocent...must die as well.

[Considering Gin is constantly hiding his hands, this is a very valid question, and why Gin likes Rosa the best.

With a flourish he presents his hands]

No bruise~! But then, Zabuza doesn't either, does he? What makes his lack of bruises any more evident than my own?

[She traces over them with her fingers anyway, checking for any winces of pain when she presses down. She nods, then writes:

"That's a fair point. You may be on to something, Gin-san... we can't completely eliminate you as a suspect unless we can prove you have no hand covering that would absorb the impact.

Hm, but can I ask a little question?"]

[He'll read over the note before nodding]

A good point, Rosa-san. Be my guest and ask away.

[She nods, smiling, then writes her next message, turns it, then shows it:

"Who will you use your reward on?

Because you're not going to be voted."]

[He hums, and looks at the note maybe a moment longer than needed to just read it before answering. Maybe if Subete was close enough, he could pick up the faintest of melancholy to go through Gin's voice. As it is, he does sound a bit softer than usually.]

Myself, obviously. I have business to finish attending to outside of this place, you know.

[She nods again. Then writes:

"Congratulations to you, then, Gin-san. Enjoy your escape."]
