RECORDING 9: THE THIRD TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Jack, looking expectant and as militaristic as ever.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

But this time...potentially, someone innocent...must die as well.

Correct, we didn't find that blade or the large one that been used to damage the surroundings.

A large blade, huh. Well, there's only so many of those people can hide here.

Right. Do we know of anyone here who uses a weapon like that?

I've seen Zabuza carrying a large sword before, but I also don't know if anyone might have been more subtle with theirs by keeping it locked up in their room. As far as I can tell, there isn't one in my room.

Ky carries a sword too. So that's two swords we know of- we should check them both if we can. I can sniff them for blood, though I bet they'd be cleaned.

It can't hurt, although we might be better off sniffing some of the smaller blades that people might be carrying on them. You wouldn't slit someone's throat using a sword.

I wouldn't know. But if it was a big beast maybe you would. Since it was from the front and all.

No one said you killed someone with that sword. But there were sword marks in the furniture, and it looked like a pretty big fight went on in the halls. I'm not sure you'd be thinking of that if you were fighting for your life.

Think what you want. My sword's pretty much just decoration among a closed group like this, much as it pains me to say it.

Then why bother carrying it around all the time?

This sword is one of a kind and it's mine. I'm not going to leave it around for other people to get their filthy hands on.
