RECORDING 9: THE THIRD TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Jack, looking expectant and as militaristic as ever.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

But this time...potentially, someone innocent...must die as well.

VICTIMS: FLAYN AND HAKU
PEOPLE TO VOTE OUT: 2

WEEK 3 VOTING

It's possible... it started in the hallway, then the fighting got serious in the library - someone or multiple people started bleeding there, then going from there to the trophy where Miss Flayn was killed... then - Mr. Haku ends up dying in the hallway?

Why do you say the fight started in
the hallway? Could it be library- trophy room- hallway?

Oh, true - that could be the case.

[He tilts his head, thinking]

I was thinking where it might be easiest for any of the three to hear a commontion.

Likely, it started in the Library.

I did see Flayn-chan there in the evening, but not Haku-kun. It could be Flayn-chan was still there when Haku-kun entered, later.

Then it's probably the most likely scenario.

That would be the easiest... though I wonder- wouldn't the miasma hide the fight from someone that far away?

Unless it wanted more people to die. Is that the case, Vessel? Would you let someone 'see' what was happening if it could lead to another murder?

Yes, I mean, why wouldn't I?

I was going to punish the person responsible for damaging the area, but someone took care of it for me. Why interfere in that case?

Good to know.

What's the difference between each scene? That might help figure out what came first.

I would say that the fight may have started in the library and then led to the trophy room, where Flayn was killed. I wouldn't be surprised if Flayn's killer was actually Haku himself.

At the very least they likely fought each other- and I can't see any reason why they would unless one attacked the other.

I believe that what was taken out of Flayn's chest might hold the answer. Either someone wanted her heart for themselves, or they were actually trying to protect it. If they just wanted to kill her, then they would have stopped at that, no?

Makes sense.

So if we're assuming Haku won their fight, then he was killed by a third party? With how his throat was sliced I doubt Flayn caused that injury.
