RECORDING 9: THE THIRD TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Jack, looking expectant and as militaristic as ever.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

But this time...potentially, someone innocent...must die as well.

VICTIMS: FLAYN AND HAKU
PEOPLE TO VOTE OUT: 2

WEEK 3 VOTING

Hahaha. The rules keep getting more tangled, don't they? This might be the first time they've been tested for their intended purpose.

I would argue that it's because of how unintentional everything has been so far, that they're this tangled in the first place.

[ That isn't judgement you hear in his tone nope. ]

[There's no judgment in his tone, but there is still some sort of laughter. Hard to say what kind, but it's there.]

Oh, I don't know. If the ghosts rule by committee the way they do their little Vessel ritual, I'm not surprised that they all have different ideas of how to make this entertaining.

[And just a sigh.]

But it's true that the killings so far have been a bit disorganized themselves.

[ A shrug punctuated with a scowl because Subete of all people should know his opinion on the vessels and ghosts, but also Olympia and her laser continue to be a thing. His lack of ornate jewelry is still very much felt. ]

A bit? I didn't think you were that generous.

With so many of us still left, I figured I'd need to leave some room to keep going downhill.

[Oh, it's going to get so much worse before it gets better (will it ever get better, the jury's out), and he's absolutely saying that with the lightest and worst of tones. There's a curl to his smile when Hikage scowls at him, too.]

[ Oh he sees that smile but he decides to leave it because he's not beyond owning up to his mistakes that are blatantly out in the open. He does huff a bit though, because he is stubborn nonetheless. ]

Ah, the unfathomable depths of the abyss. I guess I can't argue with you in this case, then. [ Or he could, but from the sounds of the very faint amusement that carries like a whisper, he really doesn't feel like it. ]
