RECORDING 9: THE THIRD TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Jack, looking expectant and as militaristic as ever.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

But this time...potentially, someone innocent...must die as well.

So it sounds like Flayn and Haku got into it but while healing herself... potentially something went wrong and holy capabilities went demonic with miasma influence?

If there was a fight it does make sense she'd try to keep healing herself, or maybe even healing someone else. Flayn seems like she'd do that to keep even an enemy alive.

That's certainly true. She was that sort of person.

I doubt she healed her attacker, but if Seteth was found unconscious and at the scene maybe she healed him. Anyone see signs of that when they looked him over?

But if she killed someone she'd have to be executed...not many would want to risk that.

[That and her soft disposition are the reasons why he thinks she'd try to heal even an attacker, once that person wasn't a danger anymore]

Not that I'm aware. But she did talk about her healing capabilities in the previous trial.

It's possible the spell, Nosferatu, could've been something like that woman's 'bomb', in that it appears to be simply 'holy' but there's a 'demonic' element to it as well.

So it'd be only natural that the miasma could twist the spell or allow its corruption to seep in.

Then we might want to examine that artifact a little closer. It might be our lead when it comes to whatever happened to Flayn's magic.
