nobody's in the mood for recording 6.9: the post-trial garden tea "party"

- The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?
But it's there, along with the end of the week.
Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.
Well.
Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.
So what are you doing these next two days?

He's avoiding the greenhouse and the living room, but otherwise he can be found just about anywhere. And if you come across him he'll suddenly compose himself, covering up any emotions he may have been showing just moments ago.]

[She looks wrung out. She looks tired and hurt and makes no effort to hide it, the way he does.
She just... looks at him quietly, now.]
...Ango-san? Can I have another hug, please?

...I-I hate this place, Ango-san. It's... it's not fair.

[He wants to say something reassuring like "we'll get out of here soon", but it feels wrong to promise that after something so traumatic. So he just won't bring it up.]

[ Laundry room. Scullery. He does walk over to put a hand on his shoulder though. ]

[It's almost funny.]
At least we're not a mess this time.

[ Sighing as he searches Ango's gaze for a moment. ]
How are you holding up?

[He's lying. He's absolutely lying. And he's pushing up his glasses to obscure his face a bit when WWX looks at him.]
I'm a government official, remember? This is not outside the bounds of 'normal' for me.

[Stumbling upon Ango in the middle of a hallway was...rather awkward. Especially because, well, he yelled at him with exasperation during the trial.
Now that the trial is over, as soon as Emil sees Ango, guilt invades him. It's not like Ango was a malicious person, or at least that's not the impression Emil has of him. He was...
...maybe he was out of place, yelling at him like that? While this cleanser is not sorry for his reasoning, he does stop and say...]
Sorry.
[...yeah. That.]
no subject
For what?
no subject
[Emil raises his voice, and facepalms when he realizes that. Ugh, control your volume, Emil, don't start shouting at him again]
For the trial. I shouldn't have shouted at you like I did.
no subject
Why are you sorry for that? Your feelings were valid.
no subject
[Valid or not, weeeeell...Rosa had valid points too, but look at the way she got treated. If people aren't careful when saying things, no matter how valid they are, they'll end being treated the same.
Emil can see that much, and he doesn't want to end like that.]
no subject
Mmm, well. Apology accepted, then.
[It might say something about how Ango is usually treated that he didn't see any of the people yelling at him as anything out of the ordinary.]

There's nothing like a fresh start after a rather harrowing trial (for everyone else), after all.
(Actually, it was rather a mess for Subete too, but we're ignoring that part.)]
Sakaguchi-san.
[He'll just incline his head in bland, polite acknowledgment. That being said, he smells a bit of smoke and the outdoors in this time of miasma and murder. They're all somehow busy bees in the wake of everything.]
sunday
How are you with logic puzzles?

Our resident soup idiot challenged me to an intelligence contest, so we're looking for someone to make up some puzzles and act as a moderator.
no subject
[It sounds stupid, but a stupid distraction might be what they need.]
Alright. I can be the moderator of that.
no subject
Excellent, thank you.
[ then he'll report back and they can get this stupid event rolling. ]
