RECORDING 4: THE SECOND WEEK

A second week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. With first blood - and oil - spilled, it now seems as if it'll only be a matter of time before the worse eventually happens once more. Thankfully, it seems as if the Miasma is content to remain at the same levels it did before, so arguments are unlikely to break out, though tensions are surely high after everything that's already occurred.
Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? Though it appears that the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
Yet, something feels...wrong. The house feels as if it is laughing at you, when you awake...
...What new horrors await you this week?

[There may not be plants here, but Sissel can't resist exploring on the hunt for soil creatures- time to test if it's JUST spiders he's disallowed from hunting. Of course, he doesn't do this for long since there's ACTUAL sunlight pouring in. And soon he's found a sunspot and is flopped out to nap.]
Laundry Room
[If you time it right you might just come into the Laundry Room as a hand crank is turning by itself??? There's red cloth in the simple machine, and if you look around you might find Sissel 'sleeping' on a pile of linens]
Wildcard
[Sissel is wandering around all evening and is easy to find]
greenhouse
I don't know if it's safe to sleep out here.

[And with that he'll just sit on the ground next to Sissel.]
Things are only becoming more unpleasant, aren't they?
no subject
Probably. That feeling that we're still in the prologue is pretty strong, you know?
no subject
[Which yeah, pretty much spells out that they're in for quite a bumpy ride potentially.]
But how are you doing? You were quite scared at the beginning, were you not?

Good afternoon.

[She nods at her attempts. There's aloe and cilantro now, fully grown... But nothing that can make a full meal.]

laundry
A-aaah?! Is that a ghost?!
[ he's shrieking like an idiot ]

But Sissel can't say that out loud- so the crank just spins wildly like it's freaking out]

[ sometimes you forget that the cat has a detachable spirit and he is running to come get you. you will be safe soon, kitty]

greenhouse
[He murmurs to himself as he steps into the Greenhouse, before he sees someone sleeping in the sun]
Seems like you got a good idea here.
[Amazing how good sunlight feels right now, even if he's usually more of a stormy person]

[His collar speaks even when Sissel doesn't make any indication that he's awake.]
no subject
[He'll do just that, finding a spot where he can sit, tilting back to feel the sunlight against his back and shoulders first]
It does feel rather nice....

[He sighs]
Though I do miss how warm it feels... even if usually I prefer rainy days.

Laundry room!
No, what he notices is Sissel on the linen pile - and he smiles, going over to the cat and kneeling down, hand outstretched.]
Hey there, Sissel-ku -
[His hand touches the cat's side, and he pauses - eyes suddenly widening as his voice suddenly shakes.]
....Si...Sissel-kun? H-hey...wake up....

Then he hears Battler's distress and, well, if his heart was beating it would have siezed up.
What awful timing!
He stretches out towards the linens, but it's too far... right right he used that other bucket and rolled over... got it!
Under Battler's shaking hand, eventually, warmth and breath returns all at once.]
no subject
[Just as he was getting really worried, suddenly he can feel the little chest under his hand lift, and he lets out a sigh of relief.]
Ah...man, I really thought...
[He takes a moment to breathe, before speaking again.]
Don't scare me like that....geez, you sleep like the dead.
no subject
[Well, it was just a matter of time until this happened, wasn't it? If he was going to be of any use to the group, he was going to need his Powers of the Dead. And that meant Battler would, just by odds alone, would see the aftermath of it.
'Sleeping' gave him a cover, but for how long? And honestly, after what happened when he was a hostage, he feels a kind of pity for the man- eventually, he would notice that everyone was hiding things from him. It wasn't fair, even if it was necessary.
And of course, Sissel remembered the man's kindness when he was grieving. So he makes a choice.]
Hey, Battler. Press down on my chest a little.
[If he does he might feel something hard an unnatural there under the cat's ribs]
