After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

[ Giovanni hadn't even realized Rin was up there, to be totally honest. He'd just sort of shuffled in, hair damp, and sat himself down to stare at the wall without ever looking toward the top bunk. So he jumps a little when she speaks up. ]

[ On the one hand, Giovanni doesn't usually mind talking about his feelings. On the other, he and Rin still don't entirely get along, and she seems more comfortable with violence - what if she makes fun of him for being this affected? On the third hand... ]

[ A lengthy silence. Giovanni fiddles with the cuff of his pajama pants. ]

...You got hobbies? Other than baseball and... kicking?

But if you must know... I cook, clean, and exercise.

Cooking and cleaning isn't a hobby either! That's chores! So what do you do for exercise? Kick people?

As for soup recipes, I know some. I will admit that there are spicy ones, though.

Have you seen the way some other bad guys treat their minions? Like they're disposable! It's not right! When I rule the world, we'll have boss-minion equality! That includes you, Nemesis. We may not always get along, but you're still my minion, and I respect you!

They should care! Being a bad guy doesn't mean you have to be a bad guy!

Did you not realize that...? Doing a 'crime', doing something bad means hurting someone. Not necessarily physically, but emotionally, too.

Like theft, or murder.
