After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

Have you seen the way some other bad guys treat their minions? Like they're disposable! It's not right! When I rule the world, we'll have boss-minion equality! That includes you, Nemesis. We may not always get along, but you're still my minion, and I respect you!

They should care! Being a bad guy doesn't mean you have to be a bad guy!

But doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a 'bad guy' to begin with?

...No? Maybe? I guess being mean is one way to be a bad guy, but it's not the only way. You can still do crimes without being a jerk!

Doing a crime in of itself is... being a 'jerk', though.

Did you not realize that...? Doing a 'crime', doing something bad means hurting someone. Not necessarily physically, but emotionally, too.

Like theft, or murder.
